02. CODE OF VALUES
LUDD is a Swedish and Spanish firm which brings together Mediterranean and Scandinavian values.
Both LUDD garments and the company itself adhere to a strict code of values:
All materials are quality certified and chosen to protect the baby’s
health and the environment.
No child labour is involved at any stage in the production of a LUDD garment,
from raw materials procurement through to point of sale.
All collaborators involved in the production of a LUDD garment, and all suppliers
of raw materials, have been paid a fair price for their services and have performed their
work in suitable working conditions, in compliance with current European legislation.
LUDD’s internal policy is one of respect for its workers’ rights, over and above what is
required by current European legislation, particularly those who have or are about to
have a child. LUDD also upholds the right to reconcile their professional life with their
family and/or personal life.
03. DESIGN, RESEARCH, SELECTION, QUALITY
Intensive work is invested in each LUDD garment to ensure:
The design provides the baby with utmost comfort and freedom of movement.
Detailing promotes ease of wear. Selection of all components guarantees top quality and
compliance with certified standards, from the fabric down to prints and buttons.
Both the garment and its packaging comply with sustainability and respect for
the environment.

LUDD garments are designed and made in the European Union.
All constituent items, from the fabric to prints, buttons, labels and packaging are furnished by certified European suppliers.
Consolidating production and supplies wholly in Europe enables stringent control of the entire process and all materials, thus guaranteeing garment quality and ethics and the implementation of technological advances provided by European research and development in the textile industry.

PACKAGING
LUDD aims to be consistent with its purpose. Thus, for instance, every garment bears a single, 100%-cotton label featuring brand, information, composition and washing instructions.
Similarly, all packaging is made from recycled material and is designed to be re-utilised. It contains no elements other than the container itself, making it easy to remove the label without any wastage, while the LUDD brand is not printed on the container itself.
As eye-catching and practical as it may be, few consumers re-use
containers which have a trademark printed on them.
If we re-use the container, there is zero wastage.
